Sunday: Race cyclocross on new bike. Fall off bike into gravel at high speed. Bang head. Feel loopy. Have headache and mood swings.

Monday: Wake up surprised that I'm in North Carolina, in graduate school. Feel loopy, have headache, have mood swings, sleep extra.

Tuesday: Take practical exam and fail it _badly_. (Partly due to loopiness, partly that I fundamentally didn't "get" the principles of acute care PT and didn't know I didn't get it, partly that I did not understand what was being asked.) Believe me, I studied like mad for the practical... and failed it anyway.

Tuesday PM: Go to health center. Have them confirm what I already suspec, mild concussion with effects that may last until Sunday. Leave with nurse's note to that effect.

Wednesday AM: Call professors and ask to reschedule biomechanics final and practical retake to _Monday_. Read up on acute care PT. Get missing handout on acute care PT from professor. Review notes to see what I missed. Rewrite history questions I should have asked and comprehend why I should have asked them.
