Fall has arrived!
Oct. 7th, 2004 12:27 pmNeed I say that it is still hot? Oh, it gets cool in the mornings and late in the evenings, but really now, it's still t-shirt weather.... bright blue skies, no haze, but shirt sleeves are de rigeur.
Ah, and the wildlife, the wildlife. Especially the spiders. They appeared around the first of September, and they are huge and furry-- they're about quarter sized, including legs.
Supposedly they don't hurt you, but they spin big, sticky webs to trap the unwary. My classmates don't seem too alarmed, but I know better. These guys LOOK harmless, but really, I think they're tarantulas with learner's permits.
