The end of the story: I plodded out of the orthopedics exam very glad I'd done all that studying. (It was the kind of test where you absolutely had to read EVERY word VERY carefully, and by the end, you were swearing you ought to go by the library, just to look up the definitions of the articles a, an, and the, to make _absolutely sure_ they really _do_ mean what you always thought they did.)

I did fine. Not great, but fine.

I could get all bitter, and rant about not getting a break... even a Friday off... but no. I'm too busy to rant about that. It's time for radiology now.
