Random cat observation
Oct. 29th, 2009 07:43 amSome pets should come with warning labels, so you know what you're in for when you pick them out.
Mine should say, "WARNING: COMES WITH VTOL CAPABILITY AND TURBO PACKAGE. REQUIRES EXTRA MAINTENANCE HOURS FOR CONTINUED OPTIMAL USE."
For the non-military among us.... VTOL means Vertical Takeoff and Landing.... like helicopters. ;-)

Date: 2009-10-29 03:51 pm (UTC)Now I *have* to come visit this paragon! I wonder if she still remembers me?
The Replacement Cat is becoming more of a lap cat every week, which is nice. OTOH, having an 11-pound cat in the lap is a rather different experience from having an 8-pound cat in the lap....

Date: 2009-10-29 04:03 pm (UTC)Pete had bamboozled Pickwick that he can't jump up more than 3-4' up. Mostly he jumps sideways/down - huge amounts like 8-10'. I know he can do that up too, but it is very rare. He is mostly an under cat so when up happens something is "up".
