Some pets should come with warning labels, so you know what you're in for when you pick them out.

Mine should say, "WARNING: COMES WITH VTOL CAPABILITY AND TURBO PACKAGE. REQUIRES EXTRA MAINTENANCE HOURS FOR CONTINUED OPTIMAL USE."

For the non-military among us.... VTOL means Vertical Takeoff and Landing.... like helicopters. ;-)

I thought all young cats do that (VTOL).

LOL!

Now I *have* to come visit this paragon! I wonder if she still remembers me?

The Replacement Cat is becoming more of a lap cat every week, which is nice. OTOH, having an 11-pound cat in the lap is a rather different experience from having an 8-pound cat in the lap....

they should also have a warning label that the VTOL will be accomplished with sharp objects -- the hind claws in particular (LOL)
Pete had bamboozled Pickwick that he can't jump up more than 3-4' up. Mostly he jumps sideways/down - huge amounts like 8-10'. I know he can do that up too, but it is very rare. He is mostly an under cat so when up happens something is "up".

haha, VTOL is awesome. One kitty is particularly good at the vertical take-off. The other one is particularly good at what we call "Death from Above."
