It has come to my attention that cyclists, during long training rides, occasionally find themselves in need of more amusement than the act of riding a bicycle can provide.

R introduced to me a game that I believe his coach taught him, that is, the People game. (First person to play names a person... say, Robert DeNiro. Next person to play must name a celebrity whose first name starts with the first letter of the previously named person's last name. So, in this case, Player #2 replies, "Dionne Warwick", and player #3 continues with "Wesley Snipes".

The Fine Print: Introduction of a double name (Ronald Reagan, Marilyn Monroe) reverses the order of play. It's also considered polite to stick to the starting category (celebrities, bike racers, sports stars).

(I think I need to introduce Minister's Cat on group rides, but I think 'mops and brooms' is just not a good idea in a pack ride situation.)
