Reasons to be a physical therapist
Nov. 5th, 2004 09:07 amBecause you helped your mother-in-law learn to love exercise
Because you were able to help fix your stepfather's bum knee
Because you make a positive and constructive impact on the world
Because, when you go running and your knee hurts, you know what it is that's hurting and how to fix it
Because the people you work with inspire you
Because you have a big brain, and you should do something constructive with it
Because people feel better when they move, and you help them move when they want to
Because, when you apply for a job, the fact that you're a triathlete makes you an asset, not an oddity
Because there's so much we don't know about how the body works, and you can contribute to what we know
.... I needed that.
