Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh....... somewhere, in all this process, I have learned four things, some of which are in the objectives for the program, some of which are not:
1) How to make information go into my head quickly and retrievably.
2) How to do public speaking well.
3) How to scan a scientific article, extract the main point, and be ready to discuss it in the ten-minute breaks between classes.
3) How to be fetishistically organized and alarmingly persistent.
Meanwhile, at the bike shop, my new bike.... the replacement for my stolen, iridescent purple steed... is ready. It is a lovely, screaming-fast Orbea Mitis.
(Update: I picked it up. It is, in fact, screaming fast. I expect to enjoy it very much. Nap now.)
