ninevirtues1) That's right, as of TODAY I have finished a year and a half, and I have a year and a half to go. Exactly. That's better than a birthday any day. Call it "HUMP DAY" on a grand scale....!
Nine months of the remainder is clinical affiliation. Nine months of the remainder will be classes. Aaah, that's better.
2) My neuro clinical is in Daytona Beach, Florida. Help! Housing there is criminally expensive (think $900 per month for a furnished studio). Do you know anyone who lives in Daytona Beach, or nearby, and who could rent a room (like a guest room, with a bed in it) to an impoverished but neat, clean, mature and polite nonsmoking graduate student from mid August to mid November?
3) The Cookout, downtown, has TWO drive through lines, shredded pork barbecue, hush puppies, and coleslaw for $4. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Wow. I was a cookout virgin before today. Best not to do that too often. But it was goooooooooooooood.
